David Raben

Mr. David Raben is a widely recognized Miami federal trial attorney known for his high ethics, and his accomplishments in complex federal criminal cases and asset forfeiture proceedings.

A recipient of the President’s Award from the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and awarded with the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Raben has proven over and over again why clients in Miami and throughout South Florida trust him with even the most challenging defense matters. Over the past thirty years, he has tried a plethora of criminal cases before juries and judges and obtained acquittals in some of the most complex federal trials. A Professor of Criminal Litigation at the University of Miami, School of Law, Mr. Raben teaches his profound litigation skillset to new generations of lawyers each year.

Mr. Raben focuses his practice on Florida state and federal criminal investigations, grand jury proceedings, and federal trials involving allegations of healthcare fraud (with particular emphasis on the Anti-Kickback Statute and Medicare Fraud), federal program fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, as well as drug-related offenses.
